It’s no secret; our main business at Wanneroo Glass is of course, glass.
We currently stock over 30 different types of glass and have access to plenty more! Some of our stocked glass includes clear and tinted float glass, obscured float glass, silver mirrored glass, wired glass and laminated safety glass.
Other types available include toughened glass, obscured toughened glass, energy efficient comfort plus glass, acoustic-rated hush optiphon safety glass, high-impact bandit resistant security glass, fire-resistant robax glass and even doubled-glazed units!
Most glass profiles come in a variety of thicknesses so you don’t pay for more than you need and we can make sure you get the right glass for the right application.
Edgework and bevelling are other features available when it comes to glass. Glass with exposed edges such as semi-frameless partitioning or table tops look fantastic with a smooth flat polished edge and/or radiused corners, just like frameless mirrors stand out with a bevel along the edges.
If you need non-toughened glass cut to size, we can generally do that at our factory while you wait! Whether you need a lid for a fish tank, glass for a table top or a replacement piece for a picture frame we can do it. We can also supply glass shelves with stylish cliff hanger brackets in a variety of colours which are ideal for your bar, kitchen, office or anywhere else you like.
We can fit pet doors into an existing glass low-light window, security door or possibly glass sliding door. Unfortunately most glass sliding doors are fitted with toughened safety glass which can’t be cut into, so we suggest fitting the pet door elsewhere. If this isn’t possible a new panel can be ordered for your glass sliding door with a cut-out suitable for a pet door.
If you’re thinking of undertaking a custom project or you want something a bit different but not sure where to start, we can help. Our knowledgeable and well trained staff have the skill and experience to do what it takes to get your job done.
This can include things like turning your faceless cabinet into an enclosed space with sliding glass doors, cutting straight edged or shaped glass for your existing tables and even replacing glass to your vehicle mirrors.
When it comes to glass, it’s important to keep in mind that there are strict Australian Standards which must always be achieved for safety and legal reasons. We will never recommend anything that does not meet the standards, nor will we perform any work that could be deemed as non-compliant. For more information please refer to our general page.
